Description/Job Purpose : Provide technical support to customers on company's fire product line. Support involves both training the customer on the product line as well as providing telephone or on-site technical support. Duties : * Develop comprehensive professional training modules on each product within the company's product portfolio. Products include: fire control panels, audio systems, smoke detectors and fire system peripherals including Windows based programming tools. * Present product training courses to customer's technicians, engineers and sales staff. * Certify training course attendees by insuring comprehension of materials presented by: 1) hands on demonstration, 2) written examination. * Provide field applications support including: 1) job quotations, 2) troubleshooting and diagnostics. Travel : * Occasional travel within continental United States. Typically 3-5 days per month. Skills/Qualifications : Technical knowledge and minimum of 5 years experience in fire industry a must. Associates (or higher) degree in Electronics and NICET certification preferred. Experience in design and installation of fire systems essential. Strong verbal communication and presentations skills. PC literate. Sales experience beneficial. Salary : Commensurate with experience. Eligible for company bonus scheme. | ||
