Product Training

Advanced's training courses are led by Leigh Kaiser, Vice President of Product Services. Leigh is a 30 year veteran of the fire industry, with extensive knowledge of the Advanced product line, national codes and standards (including the NFPA, UL and NEC codes & standards), installation and application requirements, and troubleshooting typical site problems.

Training and support are essential elements of our end to end service. We provide hands-on training covering all aspects of our Ax Series Fire Control Panels and Peripherals and the Avisa Voice Evacuation Products.

Training is available at our conference and training facilities at 100 South Street, Hopkinton, Massachusetts. All participants receive course materials, hands on training and one to one support as needed. Each participant will work with the actual product and learn how to install, program, commission and maintain the Advanced products. A typical course lasts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Class size is typically limited in order to give everyone a chance to fully participate and benefit from the training. For a schedule of training courses click here: Training Course Schedule 2010. Guests may stay at the Hawthorn Suites, 835 Upper Union Street in Franklin, MA. Phone number: 508-553-3500. A free shuttle service to and from the hotel to the Advanced Offices is provided along with complementary breakfast. When calling Hawthorn Suites, mention that you are attending a training course(s) at Advanced in order to receive the discounted rate.

We also offer to develop and deliver tailored courses to suit individual client requirements. Arrangements can be made for training course to be held at a customer designated site. Please contact Leigh Kaiser for more details.

To reserve a place, email your training request, giving preferred dates and delegate numbers to sales@afsi.us.com or training@afsi.us.com or LeKaiser@afsi.us.com. Optionally, you may fax back the Training Reservation Form.

We are located off of Interstate Route 495. When traveling from Boston Logan Airport, take the Massachusetts Turnpike West, exit off onto Route 495 South, then take your first exit. At the lights just off the exit ramp, turn right until you reach a second set of lights. Turn left onto South Street, then travel approximately one mile until you reach 100 South Street.

VICE PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:

Leigh Kaiser - Vice President of Product Services"Hi, I'm Leigh Kaiser. I invite you to sign up for one of our dynamic Training Courses. As with any typical training course, you will learn all about the products. But in addition, I will share with you many of the "tips & tricks of the trade" that I have obtained from 30 years of practical experience in the fire industry. You will also gain valuable insights during breaks and informal "open forum" sessions with our company President and Vice President of Sales & Marketing, whenever you attend courses at our premises.

I have always found that sitting listening to lectures for hours at a time, over several days, is not the best way for anyone to learn how a product works. That's why the courses are taught in a "hands on" fashion. Each participant will handle the products they are learning about. My goal is to insure that by the time a participant completes the training course, they will be ready to go into the field and install and commission the products with confidence.

We have a modern, comfortable, training facility and pride ourselves in our reputation for keeping our guests well fed with "home cooked" meals. So what are you waiting for? Give me a call and we'll arrange your personal training course".

Best Regards,

Leigh Kaiser
