NFPA Show Chicago 2009

Advanced Fire Systems Inc. proudly displayed their full array of products at the June 2009 NFPA show in Chicago. Customer response was overwhelming, judging by the non-stop booth traffic all three days of the show.

“I couldn’t be happier with the results of our participation in the show. We received a large number of requests from prestigious, independent, engineered systems distributors in North America as well as abroad, to join our fast growing network. Our new products were well received and got quite a bit of attention from customers and competitors alike,” commented Advanced President, Mike Troiano.

New products on display since last year’s event included the “Avisa Series” of technologically advanced audio system products, sounder and flashing beacon products including those that are built into the smoke detector base and operate off the same pair of wires as the detector, the AX-CTL-1 Single Loop Intelligent fire panel with optional built-in printer and the “IPX”, a creative and innovative product that utilizes IP infrastructure and the Internet as a means of local and offsite communications of audio, video, paging and messaging. The IPX offers new methods in solving the Mass Notification challenge.

Jack Nelligan, President and Owner of National Fire & Security, Inc in Massachusetts, visited the booth and had this to say: “I am really impressed with Advanced. They’ve got quite an impressive product line and they’ve certainly got a well experienced team. I would recommend others to take a closer look.”

“Attracting top independent distributors is quite a challenge, especially in this tough economic climate,” commented Ray Krickmier, Advanced Fire Systems VP of Sales. “However, ironically, I think that because of the tough climate, I’m finding that customers are more open and willing to take a closer look at what else is available to them. They are seeking alternatives to make them more competitive not only in the short term but in the long term. This was clearly evident at this year’s NFPA show.” He further commented that: “When they take a close look at us, they’re finding that we stack up very well in several areas including: competitive pricing, great products, industry experience and knowledge, but most importantly they like our operating philosophy and how we go about treating our customers. They say good news travels fast, and sure enough word is spreading about Advanced.”
